Kristyn Jones

Kristyn E. Jones brings 30 years of public and private sector leadership in transforming multi-billion-dollar business operations and large federal agencies. She served as Acting Undersecretary of the Department of the Air Force and Chief Operating Officer of the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Space Force. This Four-Star General equivalent role is the second highest position in the DAF, responsible for organizing, training, and equipping Air and Space Forces and for the welfare of approximately 700,000 Active Duty, Guard, Reserve and Civilian Airmen and Guardians serving around the world.
Kristyn also served as the Senate-confirmed Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Financial Management and Comptroller. As CFO, she was the principal adviser to the Secretary of the Air Force, Chief of Staff of the Air Force and Chief of Space Operations on all financial matters, driving strategy and execution for financial management and business analysis across Department of the Air Force resources.
Prior to her most recent government service, Kristyn was a Managing Director in KPMG's Federal Advisory practice, where she supported the Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Defense, and other federal clients. She previously served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Financial Information Management and held leadership roles in several Fortune 500 corporations.
Kristyn is a West Point graduate and former Army officer with an MBA. She has expertise in strategic planning, risk management, financial management, cybersecurity, talent management, and innovation.
