Mike brings both entrepreneurial experience and institutional finance expertise to venture capital operations. As co-founder of 811 Capital, a digital asset investment firm, he developed investment strategies and managed portfolio construction. As CFO at Big League Advance, he managed all financial reporting, accounting operations, investor relations, and portfolio strategy for the sports finance platform.
His earlier work at CohnReznick LLP provided deep expertise in government contracting financial requirements and regulatory compliance — knowledge that proves particularly relevant for Moonshots' defense-tech investments.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Wake Forest University's Calloway School of Business and maintains his CPA certification. His experience building financial systems from scratch and maintaining institutional rigor provides the operational foundation that allows Moonshots Capital to scale effectively.
