Farah Daou

Farah combines Wall Street experience with hands-on operational knowledge from founding and running her own business: after working in investment banking advising consumer and healthcare companies, she founded and operated a vegan bakery in Los Angeles.

Previously at VU Venture Partners, Farah evaluated deals across consumer, enterprise, fintech, and frontier tech, developing an eye for promising opportunities across sectors. Running her own business gave her practical insight into the day-to-day challenges founders face. Her international upbringing gives her a global lens that helps identify extraordinary leaders from a wide range of backgrounds.

Now at Moonshots Capital, Farah sources and evaluates investment opportunities while working closely with portfolio companies to accelerate their growth. She brings financial rigor, operational empathy, and a genuine understanding of what it takes to build something from scratch — all of which support the firm's leadership-first investment philosophy.
