Maria has been building operating systems for venture capital funds since 2022, working with early-stage firms and emerging managers across the ecosystem.
As an operator who has held platform, strategy, and investment roles in various capacities, Maria works directly with GPs to architect the infrastructure that drives fund performance. Previously, she was Head of Platform at Chapter One Ventures, where she led portfolio support for world-class founders building products across blockchain, consumer, and infrastructure. Most recently, she founded aiops.vc, an advisory firm for early stage funds and Fractional COO, designing systems and workflows that make funds faster, smarter, and more scalable.
Maria graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BBA in Investment Management and began her career as Financial Analyst at Capitol Music Group (Universal Music Group). She is a serial founder, having launched UTalent Records - the first and only student-run record label at UT Austin - and co-founded stoi.org, an experiment in decentralized music ownership and tokenization.
